There will be a 2010 Learn to Run Program!!
Due to a VERY busy family schedule Fadden Multisport will not be running the Half Marathon Training Program in the Spring of 2010. However do not be sad because there will still be a running program put on by the Fort McMurray Running Club which will train people for distances of 10km, 21km, and 42km. The Fort McMurray Running Club Program will follow similar methodologies used in the Fadden Multisport program; gradually working up to the goal distance, using walk breaks and offering multiple pace groups.
If you are just getting started in the sport of running, trying to maintain your current fitness level, or looking for a regular organized running group to keep you motivated, this program is for you.
This program will prepare it's participants to take part in the local running events taking place in the Fort McMurray region.
Start Date: April 18, 2010
Group Run Days: Wednesday and Sunday
Start Time: Sunday @ 9:00 am
Meeting Place: Sundays - YMCA, Wednesdays - Timberlea Public School
I will be running with the beginner group of the Fort McMurray Running Club Program so if you are interested in running with me or one of the other group leaders come join us!
