Hello Runners!

Here are the details for this weekend's long run:

Date & Time: Sunday, May 24th @ 8am
Meeting Place: Doug Barnes Cabin

We will have the same pace groups as last week as listed below. Please
remember that the Sunday long runs are meant to be run at a nice easy pace -
this means sometimes going a little slower than you may be used to but trust
me it is a good thing to learn. When you start off with a group run your
goal; provided you selected the correct pace group; should be to stay with
your group leader. The purpose of the Sunday long run is to build your
endurance not your speed.

Also, please note that once you pick a group you are not required to stay
with that group. If you would like to try running with another group by all
means please do so.

If you want to get faster do a faster short run during the week but do not
push it on the Sunday long run.

7:00 min/km - Trevor (6 min run, 1 min walk)
7:30 min/km - Joanne (6 min run, 1 min walk)
8:00 min/km - Clay (4 min run, 1 min walk)
8:30 min/km - Marlyss (3 min run, 1 min walk)
9:00 min/km - Becky (1 min run, 1:30 min walk)

This week's run route will be an out and back course and will be a distance
of 6km.
